Semiquincentennial 250
The first blood of the Revolution was spilled well before Second Continental Congress declared the United States an independent nation in July of 1776.
The years leading up to the 2026 Semiquincentennial, the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, and the years of war which followed, will be marked with many Revolutionary War milestones which should be remembered and honored by lovers of liberty throughout the world.
Golden Hill, the Boston Massacre, Lexington and Concord and the many battles on both land and sea which followed, led to the achievement of American independence and peace in 1783.
This blog is dedicated to remembering the service and sacrifice of those who fought for and won American independence.
